Contract seals
Deploy presses the source into the block. The public chain keeps the seal.
A contract on Zelum is not a public performance. It is a name, a source, and a seal. Deploy mints that seal into the next height. The block that closes keeps the name and the hash beside the note.
What deploy does
You open the testnet, hold an EVM key, and seal the contract. The runtime records the name you gave it and the hash of the source. From then on, the explorer can point at the seal. The execution of that contract still happens inside the note.
What remains visible
- The name of the contract.
- The hash of the source.
- The height of the block that minted the seal.
- The note the deploy belongs to.
