Testnet
The working surface. An EVM key, ten Zelum to start, and a seal when you deploy.
The testnet is where the machine can be used. Open it from the site, hold an EVM key, and move a note. Nothing on this page concerns how the ledger is stored. This is the surface in front of you.
Start
- Open the testnet and generate an EVM wallet, or unlock a key you saved.
- A new account receives 10 ZELUM.
- Send a transfer with an optional message. Choose public or shielded.
- Read the account, the block, and the transaction in the explorer.
Deploy
Deploy seals a contract into the next block. You give it a name and a source. The block keeps the name, the hash, and the note. After it lands, the explorer can show the seal, and the runtime can treat that contract as part of the machine.
Public or shielded
A public transfer is visible on the explorer. A shielded transfer is readable by the parties and closed to everyone else. The explorer still shows that the block moved. Choose the visibility when you send.
